Ok, this is simply a test to see if I can "do" this and if I successfully, post, I am off to a good start. :)

To Blog Or Not To Blog

There is something beautiful about a new beginning... whether it be a new year with fireworks and champagne toasts or opening a new book, replete with unknown possibilities... the page is fresh and you are able to "start over" and think anew.

I vacillated for a long time - to blog or not to blog - because I have so many things pulling me in so many directions. But the thought of keeping track of all the memories that make up our "every day"... from the simple things like Angelique losing her first tooth to the complicated ones like Alek's struggles at school... I will record them all so that I can remember and refer back to each one... in times of discouragement or joy, to teach or reminisce... or maybe just to laugh... each memory we make is a moment I treasure and is worth remembering. So, here I go... a blank canvas before me - our life's story to write. One entry at a time.
